Club Events
A busy few days for the members of NFYC began on Friday, 4th September 2026, with the FYH Annual Party Night at the Ferry Boat Inn. The evening was well attended by club members and provided a great opportunity for everyone to relax, catch up, and enjoy some time together away from the water.
The following morning saw the re-run of the Commodore’s Cup, which had originally been cancelled earlier in the year due to inclement weather.

Saturday 20th June, 2026. Various crews and boats werereadied for the annual commodores review of the fleet.
Some 30 odd members congregated in the club throughout the day, whilst preparations were made for this annual event.
Meanwhile, the Commodore and her crew made their way to the designated anchoring spot beyond the downstream 8-knot buoy, where they set *M of M*’s anchor and took up station.

For our first quiz night, which was held on Saturday 8th March 2025, around 30 members met in the clubhouse, to be put through their paces by our quizmaster for the night, Joe!
The evening started with a plateful of Bangers, Mash and Beans produced by our excellent catering ladies and gents. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures, but it is rumoured that the Rear Commodore, spent his afternoon peeling potatoes.
